New Forest District Council has launched a £7.16 million housing maintenance framework, creating opportunities for contractors across 11 specialist workstreams covering repairs, refurbishment and maintenance of residential properties and council assets.
The multi-contractor framework will support the council's housing maintenance operations, delivering reactive repairs to social housing, void property refurbishments and maintenance works across other council facilities, including coastal assets and public buildings.
Up to three contractors will be appointed to each lot, with the framework covering:
Multi-trade repairs
Electrical works
Drainage and water mains
Roofing repairs
Flooring and wet rooms
Glazing
Locksmith services
Fencing and gates
Garage doors
Cleaning services
Void property refurbishments
The framework is expected to commence in September 2026, running initially for two years with the option to extend until 2030. Contracts will be awarded through a combination of rotational call-offs and project-specific quotations.
