Yorkshire Water has launched early market engagement for a £3bn infrastructure works programme covering AMP9 and AMP10 across its regional water and wastewater network.
The proposed framework is expected to run for 10 years, from April 2028 to March 2038, with annual expenditure of around £330m.
The programme will cover major strategic infrastructure projects alongside customer-facing improvements across Yorkshire Water’s distribution and wastewater networks.
Indicative works include water and sewerage pipelines, pumping stations, treatment plants, drainage infrastructure, electrical installations, maintenance and associated engineering design services.

Yorkshire Water is seeking supplier feedback on market capacity, lotting arrangements, commercial models, incentive mechanisms and opportunities to improve collaboration and innovation across the programme.
The engagement will help shape the formal procurement strategy ahead of the planned framework start in April 2028.
Contractors and suppliers have until 12 August 2026 to respond to the market engagement survey.
