ConstructNet Intelligence
YORbuild remains one of the most influential regional construction frameworks in the UK public sector market.
With a combined value of £1.5bn, the Major Works 2 Framework will play a significant role in delivering major capital investment projects across local authorities, healthcare providers, educational institutions and other public bodies.
The inclusion of many of the UK’s leading tier-one contractors highlights the scale and strategic importance of the framework, which is expected to support economic regeneration, carbon reduction initiatives, modern methods of construction and digital delivery throughout its lifespan.
Businesses operating within the public sector construction supply chain should closely monitor upcoming call-off opportunities as projects begin to flow through the framework from summer 2026 onwards.
