Orbit Homes Secures Approval for 63 Affordable Homes Near Coventry

Orbit Homes has received planning approval for a 63-home fully affordable development in Baginton, on the outskirts of Coventry.
The scheme, known as Lancaster Fields, will be delivered in partnership with Stonebond and aims to boost the supply of high-quality, energy-efficient housing in the region.
Development Breakdown
The project will include:
🏘️ 33 homes for social rent
🔑 30 homes for Shared Ownership
🏠 A mix of one-bedroom maisonettes and two, three, and four-bedroom houses
Sustainability & Design
All homes will feature:
☀️ Solar panels
⚡ EV charging points
🌳 Public open space and tree planting
The development also supports Orbit Group’s wider target to enhance nature across 30% of its outdoor spaces by 2030.
Modern Methods of Construction
Homes will be built using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), with a timber frame system improving:

Build speed
Long-term affordability for residents
