MukAway has announced a major partnership with MV Kelly, one of the UK’s largest residential groundworks contractors, in a group agreement that brings more than 250 active construction sites into the platform network.
The deal marks a significant step forward for MukAway, strengthening its position within the UK construction materials and logistics ecosystem at a time of continued rollout across residential and infrastructure markets.
MV Kelly’s inclusion substantially increases network density across multiple regions, giving MukAway access to one of the most active groundworks portfolios in the country and expanding the platform’s ability to facilitate live-site material movement at scale.
The agreement also supports MukAway’s upcoming launch of its merchant functionality, which will enable contractors and suppliers to source aggregates directly through the platform, alongside managing surplus and non-reusable materials.
This development forms part of MukAway’s wider ambition to connect housebuilders, contractors, civil engineers, developers, merchants, wash plants and recycling operators through a single digital system designed to improve material efficiency, reduce disposal costs and support more sustainable site operations.
The platform’s integrated haulage capability also allows users to coordinate movement, sourcing and pricing within a single workflow, supporting more efficient commercial decision-making across live projects.
Fraser Linaker, CEO of MukAway, said the partnership represents a key milestone in the platform’s growth.
“Securing MV Kelly is a significant moment for MukAway. They are one of the most established names in UK groundworks and housebuilding, operating across hundreds of live residential schemes.
Bringing 250+ active sites onto the platform at once strengthens our network in a meaningful way and demonstrates the level of adoption we are now seeing from major contractors.
MV Kelly are known for adopting innovation early where it delivers operational value, and that alignment is important for us as we continue to scale.
The upcoming merchant functionality will take this further, enabling users to source aggregates directly within the platform, creating a more complete commercial and materials management solution.”
David Robottom, Aggregate Manager at MV Kelly, said the platform aligns with operational needs across large-scale delivery.
“MukAway made commercial sense from the outset. At our scale, managing materials efficiently across hundreds of live sites is critical, and the platform offers a practical way to reduce waste, improve logistics and support cost control.
What stood out was the strength of the network and the fact that real activity is already taking place across live projects.
The upcoming merchant functionality adds further value by allowing us to manage sourcing and materials movement in one place, which is a clear operational advantage.”
The MV Kelly agreement increases MukAway’s active network to more than 850 live construction sites across the UK, with further partnerships expected as the platform continues its national expansion.
