LNT Care Developments Secures £100m Funding Package to Deliver Up to 20 New Care Homes

LNT Care Developments has secured a £100 million revolving credit facility from Leumi UK to support the delivery of up to 20 new care homes across the UK over the next three years.

The funding package represents Leumi UK’s largest healthcare financing transaction to date and will provide flexible funding across land acquisition, development and investment activity within LNT’s growing pipeline.

LNT is the UK’s largest care home developer and has delivered more than 250 care home developments comprising over 16,500 beds nationwide.

Funding to Support Major Expansion

The £100m facility will initially support five care home developments comprising a total of 330 beds.

The first schemes are planned for:

  • Wymondham, Norfolk

  • Bourne, Lincolnshire

  • Braunton, Devon

  • Thornbury, Gloucestershire

  • Hooton, Cheshire

  • Newcastle Great Park, Tyne & Wear

The funding is expected to accelerate LNT’s plans to deliver between 15 and 20 new care homes over the coming years.

Growing Demand Driving Investment

The investment comes as demand for modern care facilities continues to grow across the UK.

Rising development costs and a shortage of new care home delivery have constrained supply, while an ageing population continues to increase demand for specialist elderly care accommodation.

LNT’s vertically integrated delivery model is expected to support the efficient rollout of new facilities across multiple regions.

Industry Commentary

Matt Lowe, CEO of LNT Care Developments, said the funding provides the flexibility required to continue delivering high-quality care facilities across the UK.

Leumi UK described the transaction as a landmark healthcare funding deal and highlighted its confidence in both LNT’s operating model and the long-term outlook for the UK care sector.
