Kier Launches £70m Supply Chain Procurement Drive for £243m Keogh Barracks Redevelopment

Kier has launched a major supply chain engagement exercise for its £243m redevelopment of Keogh Barracks in Aldershot, opening the door to nearly £70m of forthcoming subcontract opportunities.

The Ministry of Defence project is being delivered through the Defence Estate Optimisation Single Living Accommodation and Technical Infrastructure Programme and will modernise accommodation, training and operational facilities across the Army base over the next five years.

Kier has now commenced market engagement with specialist contractors ahead of formal procurement activity expected to begin later this month.

The redevelopment of Keogh Barracks forms part of the Ministry of Defence’s wider investment programme aimed at improving living, working and technical infrastructure across the UK defence estate.

The scheme will deliver upgraded accommodation and supporting infrastructure designed to modernise facilities for military personnel stationed at the site.
