Homes England records strongest housing completion performance since 2020

Homes England has reported its strongest annual housing completion performance in six years, with more than 40,200 homes completed during 2025/26 as the agency accelerates delivery across housing and regeneration programmes nationwide.

The figures represent a significant increase in activity across the UK housing sector, with Homes England exceeding two of its three government-set annual targets while also increasing construction starts and land unlocking activity.
