Guildmore Ltd Secures £60M St George’s Leisure & Residential Redevelopment in London


Guildmore Ltd has been awarded a £60 million contract to deliver the St George’s redevelopment scheme in London.


The project will see the demolition of the existing St George’s Leisure Centre, making way for a new mixed-use development combining modern leisure facilities with residential accommodation.

The scheme includes:


  • Demolition of the existing leisure centre and associated structures

  • Completion of detailed design to RIBA Stage 4

  • Construction of a new-build leisure facility

  • Delivery of an 8-storey residential building comprising 29 homes

  • Associated landscaping and public realm enhancements


The development is aimed at upgrading local leisure provision while contributing to housing delivery in the area.

The procurement was carried out via a competitive flexible procedure, with three tenders received and assessed at final stage.


Guildmore Ltd was selected as the successful contractor, with Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure Ltd and Chalegrove Properties Limited among the unsuccessful bidders.
