GRAHAM has signed a three-year, group-wide agreement with materials management platform MukAway, rolling the system out across its infrastructure projects in the UK and Ireland.
Developed by MA EnviroTech Group, MukAway will become GRAHAM’s primary platform for managing material movements across its live construction sites.
The system is designed to provide contractors with greater visibility over the movement, reuse and disposal of construction materials, particularly across major infrastructure schemes handling significant volumes of excavated material.
A key part of the agreement is MukAway’s ESG dashboard, which gives project teams real-time access to sustainability and carbon data relating to material movements.
GRAHAM said the platform’s ability to manage large volumes across its infrastructure portfolio was a major factor behind the appointment.
The agreement will cover projects across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as GRAHAM’s operations in Ireland.
Commercially, MukAway said transactions involving movements of less than 25 miles are currently averaging below £10 per cubic metre through the platform.
The agreement represents one of MukAway’s largest commercial wins to date and follows discussions between the two businesses that began earlier this summer.
