Forestry Commission launches £985k sewer infrastructure package at High Lodge

Forestry Commission has released a live design and build tender for new foul sewer infrastructure works at High Lodge in the East of England.

The package, valued at approximately £985,000, covers the detailed design, construction, testing and commissioning of a new foul sewer system replacing the site’s existing sewage treatment arrangements.

The works are scheduled to commence in August 2026, with completion targeted for February 2027.

Scope of works includes:

• approximately 2km foul sewer system installation

• rising/pumping main infrastructure

• gravity sewer main construction

• pumping station installation

• holding tank infrastructure

• connection into existing Anglian Water foul sewer network

• testing and commissioning works

The route for the infrastructure works has already been predetermined by Forestry England.

Additional option package

The contract also includes an optional additional works package covering:

• design and construction of a secondary rising main

• associated pumps and ancillary infrastructure
