Construction has officially begun on the £8.4m Steelos Business Park in Rotherham, marking the next phase of regeneration within the Templeborough area.
Delivered by HBC Construction Limited in partnership with Magna Science Adventure Centre, the scheme is being funded through a Government grant originally awarded via the Towns Fund.
The development will create eight new business units, including six managed workspace units and two food and drink units, providing around 1,170 sq m of commercial space.

Alongside the new buildings, the project will deliver landscaped public areas, improved pedestrian routes and additional parking, helping create an attractive business destination next to Magna Science Adventure Centre.
The scheme also benefits from improved transport links following the opening of the new Magna tram-train station, strengthening connectivity between Templeborough, Rotherham and Sheffield while supporting the wider Don Valley Corridor regeneration programme.
Rotherham Council says the development will help attract new businesses, create employment opportunities and reinforce Templeborough’s position as a key location for future economic growth.
HBC Construction is leading delivery of the project, continuing its work with Rotherham Council following its involvement in the ongoing Rotherham Markets redevelopment.
