Caddick joins £1.5bn YORbuild Major Works 2 Framework

Caddick Construction has secured its first appointment to the YORbuild Major Works 2 Framework, winning a place on Lot 1, which covers public sector projects valued between £10 million and £30 million.

The appointment gives Caddick access to a share of the £600 million Lot 1 framework, which supports the delivery of construction projects across Yorkshire and the Humber, the North East and parts of the East Midlands. Overall, the YORbuild Major Works 2 Framework has a total value of £1.5 billion.

Widely used by local authorities, NHS organisations, education providers and emergency services, the framework provides a streamlined route to market for major public sector construction projects, with a strong focus on social value, low-carbon delivery and modern methods of construction.

The latest appointment further strengthens Caddick’s growing presence in the public sector, following its recent success in securing places on four lots of the Department for Education’s £15 billion Construction Framework 2025.

As public sector investment continues across education, healthcare, civic buildings and wider infrastructure, the framework positions Caddick to compete for a significant pipeline of major construction opportunities over the coming years.
