c2c Railway launches £28.3m Basildon Station platform replacement programme


c2c Railway has published an early pipeline notice for major platform replacement and refurbishment works at Basildon Station in Essex.


The programme, valued at approximately £28.3m excluding VAT, will involve embankment re-lifting, platform replacements and associated electrical and station furniture renewals across Platforms 1 and 2.


The works are planned under GRIP stages 5–8, covering detailed design through to construction and project completion.
