City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (CBMDC) is set to establish a new framework agreement worth up to £4.8m to deliver renovation and extension works for individuals with disabilities across the Bradford district.

The framework will focus on adapting both occupied and unoccupied domestic properties, helping to improve accessibility and quality of life for residents with additional needs.

The works are expected to include a range of building construction and extension activities, providing opportunities for contractors specialising in housing adaptations, refurbishments and small-scale construction projects.

The contract is scheduled to run from September 2026 to August 2028, with the option to extend through to August 2030, offering up to four years of secured pipeline work.

CBMDC has highlighted its intention to create a diverse and inclusive supply chain, actively encouraging participation from SMEs and Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations.

The tender notice is expected to be published in July 2026, with further details to follow for interested contractors.

This upcoming framework represents a strong opportunity for regional contractors to secure consistent public sector work while contributing to vital community-focused improvements.
