Willmott Dixon breaks ground on Bransbury Park Leisure Centre in Portsmouth

Willmott Dixon has started construction on a new leisure centre and healthcare hub at Bransbury Park in Portsmouth, delivering modern fitness, swimming and primary care facilities for the local community.
The project, procured via the Southern Construction Framework, will see a two-storey facility built, featuring:
25-metre, four-lane swimming pool
learner pool
65-station fitness suite
two exercise studios
integrated healthcare provision
External works will include an improved artificial turf pitch and floodlit multi-use games area, with free public access.
📊 Long-term investment in community infrastructure
The scheme forms part of a wider £40m+ investment by Portsmouth City Council into sport and leisure facilities across the city over the past decade.
