Morgan Sindall Construction Secures £29.3M Villiers High School Redevelopment in Southall

Morgan Sindall Construction has been appointed by Ealing Council to deliver a £29.3 million redevelopment at Villiers High School in Southall, West London.
The project centres on the construction of a new three-storey eco-focused teaching block, replacing an ageing 1960s facility with a modern, energy-efficient building designed to support future demand for school places.

The new development will provide:
22 classrooms
11 science laboratories
6 ICT and media suites
Staff and welfare spaces
A rooftop sky garden and outdoor learning areas
Once complete, the upgraded facilities will significantly increase the school’s capacity and enhance the overall learning environment for students.
🌱 Sustainability-led design
Sustainability is a key driver behind the scheme, with the building incorporating:
Air source heat pumps
Solar PV panels
Rainwater harvesting systems
The design also includes natural ventilation, improved acoustics, and increased daylight to create a healthier and more productive teaching environment.
Plans for external features such as a Forest School and a new entrance area will further enhance the wider campus.
📍 Framework procurement & delivery
The project has been procured via the Southern Construction Framework (SCF), a key route for public sector construction delivery across the region.
Construction works began in spring 2026, with completion scheduled for late 2027.
