Mears Group has secured a major long-term contract with housing association Moat, valued at over £200m, with the option to extend for a further five years.
The deal will see Mears deliver responsive repairs, void maintenance and planned works across approximately 20,000 homes throughout the South East of England.
The award marks a return to a long-term strategic partnership between the two organisations, following a previous 12-year relationship that concluded in 2022. Mears has continued to support Moat through an interim arrangement since 2024, with this latest contract formalising a new long-term agreement.
Chief Executive Lucas Critchley said the win reflects continued operational performance and a disciplined approach to securing sustainable work, adding that the partnership aligns closely with both organisations’ long-term objectives.
The contract represents a significant pipeline of maintenance and planned works activity across the region, creating ongoing opportunities for the supply chain over the duration of the agreement.
