Hamilton begins facade remediation works at Hester Road development in Battersea

Hamilton has started works on a major facade remediation project at Hester Road in Battersea.

Acting as Principal Contractor, Hamilton is delivering the upgrade of the occupied mixed-use development’s external wall system as part of a Cladding Safety Scheme-funded programme focused on fire safety and compliance improvements.

The works involve the removal of non-compliant materials and installation of a new fully compliant facade system designed to improve both safety and long-term building performance.

The remediation package includes:

  • Installation of an A1 fire-rated Wetherby Stone Wool Silicone External Wall Insulation system

  • HECK SHP 4S silicone resin render textured finish

The project has been developed in partnership with Capital Property & Construction Consultants Ltd and is being delivered on behalf of property management company Rendall & Rittner.

With the building remaining occupied throughout the programme, Hamilton’s Resident Liaison Team is working closely with residents and stakeholders to manage communication and minimise disruption during the works.

Early-stage mobilisation and site setup are now underway, with completion targeted later this year.

The project reflects continued demand across the UK remediation and building safety sector as contractors progress cladding replacement and fire compliance upgrades on existing residential assets.
