Lovell secures Newcastle-under-Lyme residential site for new mixed-tenure housing scheme

Lovell Partnerships Ltd has exchanged contracts on a residential development site in Newcastle-under-Lyme as part of plans to deliver a new mixed-tenure housing community in the West Midlands.

The site, acquired following an open-market process with Staffordshire County Council, is expected to deliver up to 100 new homes.

Lovell said the project represents a further expansion of its activity across the West Midlands and forms part of its wider strategy to deliver housing through private investment and regional growth initiatives.

The development is targeting a 25% Section 106 affordable housing provision alongside commitments linked to local employment, education and training opportunities.

The scheme is also expected to generate opportunities across the residential construction supply chain as the project progresses through planning, pre-construction and delivery stages.

Lovell continues to expand its footprint across the Midlands as demand for mixed-tenure and affordable housing developments remains strong across regional markets.
