Liverpool City Council awards Caldway Drive local safety scheme contract

Liverpool City Council has awarded a highways improvement contract for the Local Safety Scheme at Caldway Drive.
The works package has been awarded to J Hopkins (Contractors) Ltd following a direct award process.
The scheme is designed to deliver road safety engineering measures aimed at reducing both the number and severity of collisions in the area.
Planned works include:
Footway modifications and construction
Kerb and paving improvements
Road marking works
The contract carries a total value of £90,682.43, with works scheduled to begin in May 2026 and complete in June 2026.
The project forms part of Liverpool City Council’s ongoing programme of local highways and road safety improvements across the region.
