Kao Data acquires Park Royal site for new West London data centre

Kao Data has acquired a 4.7-acre former industrial site at Frogmore Industrial Estate in Park Royal, West London, with plans to redevelop it into a new data centre facility.

The brownfield site, acquired from Reassure Limited in March 2026, is set to be transformed into a high-specification development supporting AI, cloud computing and advanced digital infrastructure demand.

The scheme is currently in early consultation with the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC), local authorities and stakeholders ahead of a formal planning submission.

If approved, the project is expected to be operational by 2029 and will form part of Kao Data’s wider UK expansion strategy within one of London’s key digital infrastructure hubs.

Park Royal and the wider Old Oak corridor continue to attract significant investment from data centre and infrastructure developers, driven by rising demand for high-performance computing capacity across multiple sectors.

Further details on the scheme will emerge as the project progresses through planning.
