JRL Group has secured the design-and-build contract for the next phase of the Thames City residential development at Nine Elms, London.
The latest phase is expected to deliver 608 apartments across five mansion-style residential blocks ranging from 12 to 22 storeys, with the contract believed to be worth more than £300m.
The award continues JRL’s involvement in the wider Thames City regeneration programme following completion of the N8 and N9 residential towers in 2022 and 2023.
Those earlier phases formed part of the wider Nine Elms regeneration zone and delivered 524 residential units alongside extensive resident amenities, retail space, public realm and what has been described as Europe’s largest indoor residential swimming pool.
Thames City forms part of the wider transformation of the Nine Elms and Vauxhall area, one of London’s largest regeneration programmes, which continues to attract major residential, infrastructure and mixed-use investment.
JRL Group operates through a vertically integrated delivery structure incorporating multiple specialist construction divisions across concrete frames, facades, M&E, logistics and modular construction.
The wider Thames City masterplan is expected to deliver approximately 1,500 homes across a series of residential towers and buildings alongside landscaped public spaces, retail and leisure facilities.
