Whittington Health NHS Trust has appointed Gardiner & Theobald to deliver construction consultancy services under a new contract running through to March 2028.
The appointment, was made via the NHS SBS Healthcare Planning, Construction Consultancy and Ancillary Services framework, covering multiple service lots.
The scope includes the provision of specialist consultancy support to help plan, manage and deliver capital works across the Trust’s estate, supporting ongoing investment in healthcare infrastructure.
Procured through a direct award route, the contract highlights the continued use of established public sector frameworks to streamline delivery and accelerate project mobilisation.
While the contract itself sits at consultancy level, it reflects a wider pipeline of healthcare investment, where early-stage advisory, planning and cost management services play a key role in bringing schemes forward.
Notably, the framework route remains accessible to SMEs, reinforcing ongoing opportunities for specialist consultants and supply chain partners supporting NHS projects.
The award underlines steady demand for construction consultancy services across the healthcare sector, as Trusts continue to upgrade and expand facilities in line with long-term infrastructure plans.
