Severn Trent Water has named FP McCann as supplier for a £50m framework covering the manufacture and supply of precast segmental smoothbore shaft linings across its wastewater network.
The framework will support the construction of new shaft tank storage solutions across infrastructure and non-infrastructure sites operated by Severn Trent.
FP McCann will supply precast shaft lining systems covering internal diameters from approximately 6m to 25m, with products designed for wastewater storage applications.
The systems will be suitable for a range of construction methods including underpinning, caisson and chimney construction, with jointing and sealing systems required to provide watertight structures.

Severn Trent undertook market engagement before progressing the procurement and said its assessment found that only one supplier could currently meet the required technical and operational requirements.
The framework has a total value of £50m excluding VAT, with extension options available for up to a further 24 months.
The contract covers potential delivery across England, including the Midlands, North, South East, South West, London, East of England and Yorkshire.
