Cameron Homes acquires £40m Redhill development site for 144 new homes

Cameron Homes has acquired a 17.2-acre development site in Redhill, Nottinghamshire, in a £40m deal that will deliver 144 new homes as part of a wider Midlands growth strategy.

The site, which will be known as Hawksley Rise, is located around five miles from Nottingham city centre and will provide a mix of one to four-bedroom homes, including 21 affordable units.

The scheme will also deliver approximately 5.6 acres of public open space, forming a key part of the wider placemaking strategy for the development.

John Hickman, Group Land Director at Cameron Homes, said the acquisition represents one of the company’s largest single-phase development opportunities to date and reinforces its presence across Nottinghamshire.

He added that work will commence immediately on groundworks, with an accelerated delivery programme targeting the launch of a show home in spring 2027.

The development follows ongoing activity by Cameron Homes in the region, including its nearby Mapperley Meadows scheme, further strengthening its regional pipeline.

Hawksley Rise forms part of the developer’s continued focus on delivering sustainable, high-quality residential communities across the Midlands.
