75 Affordable Homes Approved for Worcestershire Village Development

A new affordable housing development bringing 75 homes to the Worcestershire village of Badsey is set to move forward after housing provider Bromford Flagship LiveWest acquired the Brewers Lane site from Northern Trust Land.

The scheme will be delivered as a fully affordable housing development, with construction to be carried out by Bromford Flagship LiveWest’s in-house construction team.

Outline planning permission for the site was granted in December 2025, with Savills acting as marketing agent on the land transaction.

The development will provide:

  • 52 affordable rental homes

  • 20 homes for social rent

  • 32 homes for affordable rent

  • 23 shared ownership homes

The scheme will also incorporate EV charging infrastructure and water-saving features including water butts.

Alongside the residential development, proposals include improved transport links and additional visitor parking to support nearby community facilities, including the Badsey Community & Sports Centre and Evesham Archery Club.

The Brewers Lane project is being supported through Homes England funding and forms part of Bromford Flagship LiveWest’s wider programme to deliver more than 3,000 new homes annually.

Construction is expected to begin in early 2027.
