MukAway has secured a significant new partnership with Bloor Homes, with the business committing to a three-year group-wide platform agreement across its national residential development network.
The deal marks a major step in the adoption of digital material management within housebuilding, with Bloor Homes moving beyond trial phases and implementing MukAway across its operations at group level.
Under the agreement, MukAway will be embedded into the business to support site-to-site material movement, enabling greater efficiency in how materials are reused, redistributed and managed across live developments.
The platform allows housebuilders and contractors to:
reuse materials across active sites
reduce waste and landfill exposure
lower imported material costs
improve operational and ESG performance
Alongside this, MukAway’s expanding functionality enables users to:
source aggregates directly through the platform
manage non-reusable and hazardous materials
sell materials and by-products within a single system
integrate haulage pricing for end-to-end cost control
This positions MukAway as a full commercial materials management tool rather than a standalone exchange platform.
With construction costs rising and sustainability pressures increasing, the agreement reflects a wider shift across the sector towards more connected, data-led operations.

🧠 Industry comment
Fraser Linaker, CEO of MukAway, said:
“Bloor Homes committing at group level is exactly where this market is heading. The industry is under pressure from rising costs, landfill tax increases and sustainability targets — and traditional materials management no longer fits the way modern housebuilding operates.
We are seeing a clear shift from interest to implementation. Businesses are no longer asking if this works — they are deploying it and seeing immediate commercial and environmental benefits.
Each major contractor or housebuilder that joins strengthens the network. With merchant functionality about to launch, this partnership arrives at exactly the right time.”
Matthew Williams, Commercial Director at Bloor Homes, added:
“MukAway offers a practical and scalable way to improve efficiency and reduce waste across our developments.
The ability to manage materials across multiple sites through one platform is a clear step forward, and we are looking forward to seeing the benefits across the business.”
MukAway continues to expand its national footprint, with further partnerships in development as it strengthens its position within the modern construction supply chain.
