Legendre UK Appointed Main Contractor on Mayfair Office Redevelopment

Legendre UK has been appointed by Berkeley Estate Asset Management as Main Contractor for the redevelopment of 50 Stratton Street in Mayfair, London.

The scheme will transform the existing site into a new 135,000 sq ft Grade A office development designed by Stiff + Trevillion, delivering premium workspace in one of London’s most established commercial districts.

Plans for the development include large floorplates of around 12,000 sq ft, high-end internal finishes and a mix of communal and private terrace spaces.

The project is targeting both BREEAM Outstanding and LEED Gold sustainability certifications, with the all-electric building designed around a zero embodied carbon approach. Construction proposals include the use of lightweight steel framing alongside four new cross-laminated timber floors as part of the sustainability strategy.

Legendre UK will work alongside Berkeley Estate Asset Management and the wider professional team as the project moves towards site delivery in central London.

The award adds to continued commercial office redevelopment activity across the capital, particularly within prime London locations where demand for high-specification sustainable workspace remains strong.
