Krol Corlett Delivers Market Walk Office Refurbishment for Chorley Council

Krol Corlett Construction has completed the refurbishment of office accommodation within Market Walk, Chorley, as part of Chorley Council’s wider town centre regeneration programme.

The project was procured through a direct award via the RISE Framework under a JCT Design & Build 2024 contract and was delivered to support the council’s long-term plans for the town centre.

Valued at £487,261.98 including VAT, the refurbishment provides alternative office accommodation within Chorley town centre and enables the relocation of council staff from Union Street offices. The move is a key step in facilitating the development of the council’s proposed Health Hub project.

Works commenced in September 2025 and were completed in February 2026, with Krol Corlett appointed to deliver the scheme through to RIBA Stage 7.

The refurbishment forms part of Chorley Council’s wider investment programme aimed at improving town centre infrastructure, modernising public facilities, and supporting future regeneration initiatives.
