Hillwood UK and Maple Grove Developments have agreed terms with the Welsh Government to develop a new 57,486 sq ft speculative industrial unit at Brocastle Employment Park in Bridgend.
The development will be delivered by the joint venture Deeside Regeneration Limited on a 4.85-acre site within the 116-acre Brocastle Employment Park, where extensive infrastructure has already been delivered by the Welsh Government.
The new Grade A industrial unit will be the first advanced build development on Plot 5 and will target manufacturing occupiers, benefiting from outline planning consent for B1/B2 employment uses.

Construction is expected to commence in early 2027, with the building targeted for occupation later the same year.
The scheme has received grant funding from the Development Bank of Wales and forms part of the Welsh Government’s wider strategy to increase the supply of modern employment space and attract inward investment.
The project is being promoted by Knight Frank and JLL, acting on behalf of Deeside Regeneration Limited.
