GMI Appointed to Deliver First Phase of Major Westworks Logistics Hub in Corby


GMI Construction Group has been appointed by DHL Real Estate to deliver the first phase of the Westworks logistics hub in Corby.


The development will provide a highly sustainable industrial and logistics facility extending to approximately 491,754 sq ft and forms part of the wider Westworks scheme, a major employment and distribution development in Northamptonshire.


Designed to meet modern occupier requirements, the building is targeting both BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings, reflecting a strong focus on sustainability, energy efficiency and operational performance.


The project benefits from a strategic location in Corby, with recent improvements to the A14 enhancing connectivity to key logistics markets across the East Midlands, Birmingham and the wider UK motorway network.


The appointment further strengthens GMI’s presence within the East Midlands industrial and logistics sector, where the contractor continues to secure major warehouse and distribution projects.
